FEATURED CALLER THROUGHOUT THE CONVENTION
Vernon has been square dancing since he was a teenager and started calling in 1978. He calls SSD, Mainstream, Plus, and Advanced. He also does easy Line Dances and cues easy Round Dances.
He belongs to several callers associations, including CALLERLAB, the International Association of Square Dance Callers. For this association he is a past Chair of the Board. He has also served on the Executive Committee and is currently serving on the Board of Governors.
He also belongs to the North Texas Callers Association serving this organization in many positions including President.
He belongs to the Texas State Callers Association also serving this organization in several capacities including President.
In 2011 he was elected to the Texas Callers Hall Of Fame.
Vernon conducts many Square Dance Parties for corporations, family reunions, wedding receptions, and anyplace where there will be a group of people looking to have fun!
