TWO SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO YOUTH SQUARE DANCERS
Two college scholarships are available for youth square dancers, and the deadlines for application are coming up soon! United Square Dancers of America, Inc. (USDA), the national dancers organization, is offering a $1000 college scholarship through their Founders Memorial Youth Fund. Deadline for application is February 1, 2010.
The California Square Dance Council, Inc.’s $500 Scholarship was presented May 8, 2010 at the California Square Dance Council meeting. Applications for the California scholarship may be downloaded from the Council's website, http://www.squaredance.org. Deadline for next years submission will be April 1, 2011.
